Customer portal — Phase 4 build

Customers sign in with magic link or password to view outstanding balances, paid invoices, upcoming visits, before/after photos, and approve estimates online.

Time Clock Devices
A registered tablet can take clock-in/out punches from the sign-in screen without anyone logging in. Its token can only punch — it can't read reports, pay, or any other data. Register from the tablet you want to use; revoke a lost or replaced one to cut it off instantly.
Portal Access Requests
Customers with no email address on file can't self-register, so they request access here. Match each one to the right customer account and approve — they'll get an email to set their own password.
Report Subscriptions
Choose who receives each recurring report by email. Only admin and office users are listed, since these reports contain company-wide data.
Nightly Time Clock Report
Sent every night at 8:00 PM Eastern — daily hours, overtime, and missed punches.
Company information
Appears on invoices, customer portal, and email templates.
Divisions
Used everywhere — jobs, calendars, invoices, reports. Each gets its own color for visual identification.

Team members
People with access to the app. Role determines what they can see and edit.
Roles & permissions
Role-based access control. Customizable when the backend is in place.
Service catalog
Reusable line items for invoices and estimates. Taxable controls whether a line using this item is taxed — materials are typically taxable, labor and fees are not.

Audit log
Tamper-resistant record of who did what, when. Critical for payroll, financial compliance, and dispute resolution.
The audit log requires backend storage to be tamper-resistant. Each action (customer edit, invoice send, payment recorded, clock-in, permission change) will be written here with timestamp, user, IP address, and before/after values.

Phase 1 build. Once the FastAPI backend is in place, this view shows the live audit stream with search and filter.
